LABEL LAUNCH EVENTS AT SXSW TO INCLUDE PERFORMANCES BY THEIR ALL-TEXAS ROSTER

March 11, 2009 (Austin, TX) – One of the greatest music cities in the USA is going to be home for a new independent record label called Playing in Traffic that officially launches this month at the SXSW Music Festival. The Austin-based label, helmed by longtime Texas music executive Kevin Wommack and partner Whitaker Elledge, is a new division of Loophole Entertainment, the management company founded in 1984 that represents the GRAMMY-winning Los Lonely Boys among other new and notable Austin artists. Playing in Traffic will now be the independent label home for Loophole artists Los Lonely Boys, Gary Clark, Jr., The Steps, Sahara Smith and Speak, with all releases distributed by RED Music.
